A runner from Bayugan City grabbed the 2nd place in the recently-concluded Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., National 70k Ultramarathon held at Davao City.
Elias Tabac of Bayugan Runners got a time of six hours, 12 minutes and 59 seconds against Richard Noval with 6:31:33 of Team Titan's Davao and got the 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
While Michael John Echalico of Panabo Runners Club (PRC) got the first spot with a time of five hours, 23 minutes and 50 seconds.
The proceeds of the race will be given to the Pediatric Surgery Department of the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
